What is Siddhant's opinion on fitness?
Siddhant has told in an interview given to a website that I am not a fitness freak at all. I like to jump around and play sports. I have taken training in Taekwondo. I love martial arts, gymnastics and football. So, my fitness is linked to my lifestyle.
Theories suggest that's not something I'm trying to do. I have always been fit. I really like playing sports and that's all. Fitness is the most important thing for me. As we grow up, we forget to play. I just love playing, climbing walls and things like that. It might sound stupid to anyone to see a grown man do this but I love it, so I do it.
How do you take care of diet?
Siddhant says that he has never been a fan of junk food. He said that I do not believe that street food in India is junk. I love to eat food like pani puri, sev puri, dosa. I love Indian cuisine and whatever my mother cooks. I keep my food simple and simple but now I have to pay attention to my calories. Yes, I just eat home cooked food when I don't have to. This is a healthy diet for me.
How did you take care of your fitness during the lockdown?
Siddhant says I hate gym a lot. I am not a big supporter of gym culture. I do not believe in the body that I get after doing dumbbell and chest press. Yes, I try to be true to myself as long as I don't have to do it for a film character. Maybe I can take advantage of just running and using things around me. This is what I was doing when I was at home during the lockdown.
1-I do boxing and kick boxing at home.
2-I stretch, do headstands in my room and dribble with a football.
3- I was trying to be proficient in what I actually have, instead of doing push-ups or pull-ups.
4- This is a performance based workout for me, which is natural.
